My little Reanimator

The use of "Kirby dots" (or "Kirby krackle") within the background is a nice touch and gives the overall theme of the piece even more of a sci-fi/horror edge. The lineless look of the characters, along with the colors, match up to the show's style in a great way.

The expressions of the character are nicely done as well- Twilight's sinister smile at her dark concoction, along with those intensely-focused eyes, make her appear creepier as Herbert West than Jeffrey Combs did.

One thing that really stands out to me here is Pinkie Pie's disembodied zombie head. Her face isn't exactly horrifying or showing an emotion of fear, but rather rage, which considering the nature of the undead from "Re-Animator" is a great representation of what the terrible side effects of the reagent were. Also, the fact that this is the same sort of face Pinkie kept making towards Twilight in the episode, "Green Isn't Your Color", whenever she said, "FOR-EVERRR...!" is pretty hilarious.

While the green glow of the needle full of reagent is the main source of light, I feel that there would be more of an theatrical impact if you had made the glow a little more diverse. There seems to be more of a yellow light effect on both Twilight and Pinkie's faces than there is of a green coloring in relation to the needle's glow. It's almost as if there's an unseen candle in the room that's acting as another form of light. The one lower beaker closer to Twilight's hoof seems to reflect the contrast of the needle's glow more than the other objects which seem to be reflecting the said other light.

Other than that, great combination of a H.P. Lovecraft story and a cartoon. Can't wait to see what you'll tackle next regarding the ponies.
